EDDIE ON JPT CLASH

Posted on: Tue 31 Aug 2010

Eddie Howe looks set to make changes tonight as the Cherries take on Torquay United at Dean Court in the First Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, kick off 7.45.

Eddie told www.afcb.co.uk, "It's a competition we take seriously and we want to do well in.  I will have to see now who is fit and available, but we have a strong squad.  Joe Partington is away on international duty, Michael Symes has a shoulder injury.  Michael only played on Saturday after injections and Josh McQuoid had to come off with a tight calf.

We need to put a strong side out as Torquay have done fantastically well recently and will be tough opposition.  It will give the chance for players who have been desperate to be playing, and we will mix it up a bit and this is a great game for us to have."
