Cherries boss Eddie Howe gives www.afcb.co.uk his views on the 3-0 win at Tranmere:
"It was a brilliant display from the team and again the boys have responded brilliantly. It's been a difficult week for us, but the players have got on with it like they always do because they are great professionals. Tranmere is a really tough place to go to and we have got a great victory so I'm delighted.
I thought like last week, it was a good team performance and again, it is hard to pick out individuals for praise, because all the players stood out and did their jobs well. We looked strong at the back and a real threat going forward and I can't ask any more from the players than that and we look a tough side to beat at the moment.
I'm delighted for Josh McQuoid to get his goal. He has worked hard all pre season and is improving all the time. He has really good attributes and everyone could see for the first goal how quick he is and it was a cool finish as well, so really pleased for him. It was important for Michael Symes to get his first goal for the club and get off the mark. He took the penalty well and his all round game was really good. Marc Pugh once again showed what a threat he is by taking his goal superbly, and all in all, there are so many positives to take from the game.
I'm delighted for the supporters who made the effort to travel such a long way away. It makes it all worthwhile when you see their reaction at the end after giving the lads such great support."
