Minimum Requirements - Bond lays down the gauntlet

Cherries Manager Kevin Bond says the team must put all injury and administration concerns behind them come kick off against Southend United tomorrow.

Russ Perrett, Warren Cummings, Danny Hollands and Neil Young are all struggling to be fit while long term absentees Darren Anderton, Ryan Garry, Steven Foley and Neil Moss watch on.

Coupled with the ten point administration deduction, Cherries have a mountainous task of avoiding the drop to League Two. Bond however, has set out the very least he expects from his players and wants them to keep showing those qualities to the end of the season.

Looking ahead to tomorrow's match Bond said, "It's an opportunity to put right the result from when we played tem two weeks ago, but more importantly we need to focus on getting some points on the board irrespective of who we play.

"Southend are a good side so it won't be easy, but we'll look at what we've got available to us and try to cause some problems. They're a well balanced and strong team, who'd expect to be higher than they are at the moment.

"We're in good form and we've done well of late so I'm confident we can give a good account of ourselves. Everyone is battling for one another and you've got to have that whatever end of the table you're at.

"You'll never win anything without a strong bond, good work ethic and total commitment and that's what the lads have. They've shown that in abundance of late. That's a minimum requirement and we need to keep that going."
