Bond Happy With Form
Bond Happy With Form - General play has been good says gaffer
Cherries Manager Kevin Bond says he's satisfied with the team's current form. He believes if mistakes are kept to a minimum the standard of performance shown in recent weeks will see a rise in points and also lift Cherries off the bottom of League One.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in three home matches having picked up seven points from a possible nine at Dean Court. Tomorrow's match against Southend United and Tuesday's against Luton give the team a perfect chance to extend that run.
Bondy said, "We need to stop conceding goals at critical times in games, but I've been pleased with our form in general. We've spoke about the errors, but we can't dwell on it and everyone has been training in fantastic spirits
"You can't put everything down to luck, but it has been unfortunate for us and the lads are doing the best they can to cut out the mistakes. We're mindful of it without wanting to put the lads under too much pressure.
"Southend are a good side if you allow them to be. Their expectations lie in the Championship and they've just bought James Walker for £200,000 so it's going to be a difficult game.
"What we must do is continue the form we've shown at home. If we do that and don't do anything silly then the results will follow."
