Bond Pleased For Fans
Bond salutes support after three tough trips
Here is what Kevin had to say after victory at Doncaster:
"It was backs to the wall for the last twenty minutes or so, but I thought the lads at the back defended excellently when they had to. At the other end I always thought we were a threat and was pleased with Lee Bradbury on his debut.
"I think having Bradders up there has made a big difference to Jo Kuffour and I certainly saw a difference in Jo so I'm pleased for him.
"Bradders gave us a different dimension today and one that we needed. Before the game we hadn't scored a goal. We've come from behind for the first time in a long time and it gives everybody heart. We've got to take heart from this and take it into our future games to build on.
"A lot is expected of Doncaster this season and they threw men up front late on. They were slinging balls in the box left right and centre, but the lads dealt with everything and got what they deserved.
"The fans have been brilliant. We've had three really hard away games. The lads have put on performances in all three matches and the support means such a lot.
"The lads appreciate it and it's nice to go over and give them a wave at the end of the game. We go home a lot happier and I hope they do too."
