Versatile Cherries star Shaun Cooper, who hasn't played since Chester away in April 2009, is making slow progress as he looks to get back to fitness.

Although the Cherries are desperately low on numbers, Physio Steve Hard will not rush Shaun back too quickly.  Steve told www.afcb.co.uk, "The weather has affected some of his rehabilitation.  He did join in a non contact session with the first team and he felt OK after that.  Over the next month, it will be a case of him building up.  He will train one day one week, two the next and build him up that way over the next three or four weeks.  As with regards to playing, we have to remember that he has been out since April, so he is going to have to train for at least a month.  We are fortunate that we have a number of reserve matches coming up for the rest of the season, so we will be looking for him to eventually be involved in a few of them, but being realistic, we can't really expect him to be playing in the first team until the latter end of the season."

Meanwhile Sammy Igoe is expected to be out for around three weeks after picking up an injury at Aldershot on Saturday.
