Injury Latest - News on eight Cherries players

Cherries physio Steve Hard is hopeful that Darren Anderton will resume training within a couple of weeks and is confident that the former England International will play again this season. Anderton hasn't featured since the home match against Leeds at the start of November.

Ryan Garry has resumed training since a minor operation in his leg put back a late February comeback to reserve team action. The mini pre-season Garry undertook early this year has paid dividends and the defender is reasonably fit. The home reserve match against Plymouth on April 1st is pencilled in for a return to competitive action.

Russell Perrett is no nearer a return to training. Russ was first pulled out of action while suffering breathing difficulties and he's undergone a range of tests to find the root of the problem. A cardiologist has referred him to a lung specialist.

The season is over for Cherries keeper Gareth Stewart. The stopper sustained a partial rupture of the ATFL ligament when landing awkwardly against Hartlepool United on March 1st. He's also strained two other ligaments and is awaiting an appointment with a surgeon for an operation.

Warren Cummings will definitely miss the Easter Bank Holiday double header against Tranmere and Gillingham. Neil Young will also miss the matches with an ankle problem, but both could return to face Millwall on Saturday March 29th.

Neil Moss and Steven Foley are still recovering from respective wrist and back operations and will not play again this season.
