Young Out With Calf Strain - Defender's injury diagnosed

Cherries defender Neil Young missed the victory over Nottingham Forest last week with a calf problem sustained after the away loss at Huddersfield Town.

Young hasn't trained all week, but has had the injury looked at in more detail. Kevin Bond said, "He thought it was a kick and then that it might have been emanating from his back, but we now know it's a strain."

The injury is not thought to be serious and Young should be back in action sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile Ryan Garry is still on track to make a reserve comeback against Cheltenham on February 26th while Darren Anderton is responding well to last week's trip to see German doctor Hans Muller Wohlfarth.

Neil Moss is highly unlikely to feature again this season while Steven Foley's next target is to complete a full pre-season.
