Quartet To Miss Bristol City
Updates on Mossy, Hollands, Bartley and Foley
Neil Moss
Mossy felt his groin while kicking in the friendly against Portsmouth. It's nothing major, but he has been advised to sit out the Bristol City match as a precaution to ensure he is fit for the season opener.
He will train from the start of next week and avoid kicking for the first few days.
Danny Hollands
Danny initially suffered a strain after the Weymouth game. It's nothing serious, but has been niggling him for a few weeks now so he will have a scan on Monday.
He is currently in light training although felt it this morning while doing a few sprints.
Marvin Bartley
Marvin sustained a wrist injury against Portsmouth on Tuesday. He is currently in a cast that will be taken off and x-rayed again on Friday August 10th.
Any action from then would depend if he has sustained a fracture or not. With this kind of injury the fracture doesn't always show straight away hence the ten day wait for a re-diagnosis.
Either way, he will be able to play with a cast, but if it is broken he will have to wait a little longer before returning to action.
Steven Foley
Steven is still not doing any impact work, but is continuing a gym programme, swimming and bike work.
