12-year-old Kyle Taylor is a boy with a very bright future and AFC Bournemouth have made sure that it will be with them.
The starlet put pen to paper on a six-year deal last week that will see him stay at the Seward Stadium until he's an adult, and spend two years in the clubs renowned youth set-up when he hits 16.
Head of the Centre of Excellence, Shaun Brooks said, "Kyle has conducted himself in a very mature manner since he's been at AFC Bournemouth and it was a no brainer for us to tie him to the club for the foreseeable future.
"He is an exceptional talent, and it is testimony to our ever improving set up that we are looking to the future in this manner, and securing potential stars for the club.
"It also acts as an incentive for the other boys. They've all got the talent, and now they've been given something to aim for."
Kyle can play anywhere across the midfield, and was originally approached by the Cherries after impressing for a number of seasons at Lytchett Red Triangle, a successful youth team based in Lytchett Matravers near Poole.
Kyle said, "I've been handed a great opportunity by AFC Bournemouth and I am going to take it with both hands.
"Everyone has been fantastic since I joined the club and I had no hesitation when Matty Holmes spoke to me about signing the contract.
"I want to say thank you to my previous coach at Lytchett Red Triangle, Andy Storey, who made me the player I am today, and of course my Mum who has helped me reach my dream by supporting me all the way with early starts and long drives."
AFC Bournemouth manager, Lee Bradbury said, "I am looking forward to working with Kyle in the future as I've heard great things about him.
"We all start somewhere in our football careers, and I think Kyle has just taken a big step forward in his."
