ALL ABOUT THE SEWARD STADIUM - THE HOME OF THE CHERRIES

The present Dean Court, named the Seward Stadium on 1 July 2011, was built in 2001 on the site of the old stadium. The first game to be played at the ground was on 10 November 2001 against Wrexham. Prior to moving in to the ground, the club played on the same site from 31 December 1910. AFC Bournemouth played their first eight league games at Dorchester Town FC whilst the current stadium was being constructed.

The Seward Stadium
Dean Court is a modern, all seated and covered stadium, situated in Kings Park. It has easy access from the A338. There is a large car park at the ground that is accessible through the Kings Park entrance. It is a three sided ground, with plans for a permanent fourth stand in the pipeline. The club have also been granted permission by the Council for two training pitches and 3G pitches in Kings Park, next to the stadium.
