AFC Bournemouth's Community Sports Trust has been in partnership with Beales Department Store to provide football coaching to boys and girls aged 7-14 since early April. This partnership has proved to be a huge success with the local community benefiting from the continued support from Beales. The children take part in a variety of different football practices including dribbling, turning and shooting and playing matches.

The project has been a huge success and AFC Bournemouth is delighted to say that Beales will be continuing their support so the coaching sessions can continue for a further 20 weeks after 14 August. Head of the AFC Bournemouth's Community Sports Trust, Steve Cuss said, "We are very grateful to Beales for providing us with this great opportunity which has seen 60 to 70 local children attending the sessions each week. The scheme started with a 20 week Saturday morning coaching session and we are delighted that this will now continue. "

Beales has been a part of the local community in Bournemouth for many years and they recognise that AFC Bournemouth are a very important part of the community. Tony Brown , CEO of Beales, visited the course last Saturday at Iford Playing Fields. Tony said, "Beales are delighted to support such a worthwhile community project and with there being so many children attending each week we are keen to see this continue throughout the year and not just during the Summer months.
