The defender is more than aware of the threat posed by Spurs, but believes the Cherries have more than enough to make it difficult for the title challengers.
“We definitely owe them one,” said Cook.
“They are the best team we’ve played so far this season, they pressed us really hard and were terrific on the day.
“As a team they are in fine form and confidence, but we’ve been working hard throughout the week on their weaknesses. Hopefully we can make it tense for them.”
The Cherries will have a fortnight break after Sunday before they return to league action against Manchester City on April 2nd.
And Cook, along with his team mates, is looking forward to continuing to push AFC Bournemouth up the Barclays Premier League.
“It’s in our hands now,” he continued.
“We’ve still got to get over the line but as a team we are confident that we can win enough games now not do that.
“We’ve worked so hard to get into this position so we want to enjoy it, but, more importantly, we need to finish the job.”
