Promising youngsters on show for Wimborne fundraising match

Six of the seven youngsters who were offered their first professional contracts at AFC Bournemouth earlier this week will showcase their talent tonight in an exhibition match at Wimborne Town.

Callum Stanton, Corey Jordan, Ollie Harfield, Keelan O’Connell, Sam Surridge and Matt Worthington are all set to feature for Stephen Purches’ under-21s against the crisis-hit Southern League side.

Jordan Lee, who made his first team debut against Birmingham in the FA Cup earlier this season, will also feature in a game arranged to raise much needed funds for the 138-year old club. 

Kick off is at 7.45pm and admission is priced at £9 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for under-18s, with all proceeds going to the Magpies.
