AFC Bournemouth look set to have eight players on international duty over the upcoming international break in March.

Adam Federici will feature for Australia in their crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier double-header against Tajikistan and Jordan, while fellow stopper Artur Boruc has been named in the Poland squad for their two friendlies against Serbia and Finland. Matt Ritchie won his first call-up for the Scotland squad this time last year and retains his place, being named in the Tartan Army squad for the friendly against Denmark.

Wales have called up Shaun MacDonald for their Euro 2016 warm-up games against Northern Ireland and Ukraine, while the Republic of Ireland have picked Eunan O’Kane for their squad to face Switzerland and Slovakia. Harry Arter was also initially selected by Martin O'Neill, but misses out due to an achilles injury.

Wingers Juan Iturbe and Max Gradel have won call-ups for Paraguay and the Ivory Coast respectively – with Iturbe looking for his first full cap since 2009 after devoting his international allegiance to La Albirroja earlier this month.

The Cherries loanee could play against Brazil as they face the five-time world champions and Ecuador. Benik Afobe will train with the DR Congo squad and Joshua King was called up for the Norway squad for their pair of friendlies against Estonia and Finland but has pulled out due to injury.
