Injury news: Stanislas expected to be out for a few weeks, while Gradel's time needs to be managed

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that Junior Stanislas has had a scan this morning and expects him to be out for 'a few weeks.'

The extent of Stanislas' injury is yet to be confirmed, and the manager also talked about managing managing Max Gradel's game time as the winger returned against Watford.

"We don't know the results of the scan that Junior took this morning," Howe explained.

"It didn't look good initially and our initial diagnosis was that Junior would be out for a few weeks.

"Apart from that though, we're pretty good.

"Obviously Max has returned now, but we have to manager his workload.

"I'll speak with the player, he's been out for a long period of time and we didn't want to throw him in as early as we did on Saturday.

"But he was very bright and we're pleased with his performance, but we have to manage him correctly as we have three games this week.

"Lewis Grabban is making good progress too as he returns from a groin strain but we're unsure if he'll be able to feature due to the injury."
