The Cherries have appointed Dan Hodges as the club's new head of sports science.
Hodges joins Paul Groves' backroom team after a season in the same position at Rochdale.
He previously worked under well respected fitness coach Damien Roden at Manchester City, and was part of the coaching staff that helped develop the fittest team in the Premier League and implemented the most effective injury prevention programme in the top flight.
Hodges graduated from Brunel University in 2009 with a degree in sport science before completing a master's degree in exercise and sports science at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Hodges joins assistant manager Shaun Brooks, first team coach Dennis Rofe, youth team manager Ross Embleton, performance analyst Garvan Stewart, goalkeeper coach Neil Moss, physio Steve Hard, sports therapist Dave Gardener on the Cherries coaching staff.
