Head-to-head: 20 goals shared between Cherries and Blues in last three meetings

Posted: Fri 08 Jan 2016

AFC Bournemouth head into the Emirates FA Cup clash in the Midlands with Birmingham City with the better of the head-to-head records between the two sides.

In total, the Cherries have played the Blues 16 times and have won nine of those fixtures, drawing four and being defeated just three times.

The last three fixtures between the sides have each seen a Bournemouth victory and 20 goals exchanged between the sides - who could forget last season's incredible 8-0 win at St. Andrews.

The other game last season and the last game between the pair saw Gary Rowett's side race into a two goal lead, before Steve Cook, Callum Wilson, Yann Kermorgant and Charlie Daniels all netted to secure a memorable comeback and a 4-2 victory.

The Cherries have never lost away at St. Andrews and have only lost once to Blues in the last eight meetings.
