The new AFCB Central Coast supporters group will officially launch on Saturday February 13th and to mark the occasion, the group has arranged for a charity football match to take place.
AFC Bournemouth supporters will take on Central Coast Mariners and will raise funds for ASPECT (Autism Spectrum), whereby all profits derived from the entrance fee of $10 per person will be donated to Aspect’s Central Coast branch.
Nick Goodwin, Chairman of the AFCB Sydney supporters group, is looking forward to raising money for such a worthy cause while celebrating the launch of an idea which has been months in the making.
"It all started as an idea for a social catch up between supporters," Nick said.
"It spiralled from the first game of the season against Aston Villa, during the game 20 Cherries fans present were keen to watch a game in the central coast later in the season.
"It all stemmed from that really and before you know it, we were planning to make a new group and AFCB Central Coast was born!
"It’s great to see our fanbase grow, particularly being in the Premier League and we’ll be supporting Eddie Howe and the boys on Saturday at 2am!"
