Arter poses with charity prizes

Supporters can still bid on Adam Lallana's matchworn England shirt and two VIP experiences at AFC Bournemouth's final two home games in Harry Arter's auction.

Over £11,000 was made after supporters bid on the AFC Bournemouth players' matchworn shirts and boots, and there are still three unique items for fans to bid on.

The two pairs of tickets, which are open only for home supporters to bid on, include a pre-match tour from club legend Steve Fletcher, whilst Lallana's matchworn shirt is a piece of history.

The Three Lions' shirt was worn by the Reds midfielder in the historic 3-2 win over Germany in Berlin last month.

All proceeds from the auction, which can be found by clicking here, will go to Arter's chosen charity 4Louis, a family-run organisation which provides support for bereaved parents who suffer a stillbirth or neonatal death by providing UK hospitals with equipment, such as memory boxes and cuddle cots.

“4Louis really stuck out as helping us,” explained the 26-year-old ahead of the auction start.

“We look at the memory box they provided every day - it’s in our front room at home. And as much as that doesn’t get rid of the pain, it does help to ease it a little bit.

“They are run just by donations and help so many people that are in despair and going through what we went through, so we wanted to give back as much as we could.

“I am not sure what kind of donations they are used to, but hopefully with this auction we can make it some sort of record for them.”

“We are so grateful for this support,” commented 4Louis trustee Bob McGurrell.

“These kind donations will help our small, family-run charity continue to support bereaved parents at a very difficult time in their lives.

“We would like to thank Harry and AFC Bournemouth from the bottom of our hearts for embracing the charity in this way.”
The auction is being held on 4Louis’ official eBay page and launches at 5pm on Friday 8th April before closing at 5pm on Monday 18th April 2016. Click here to visit the eBay auction page.
