Dan Gosling, Adam Federici and Eunan O'Kane visit school with AFC Bournemouth affiliation

AFC Bournemouth's latest work in the community saw three of its first-team squad visit a school with a strong affiliation to the club.

Adam Federici, Eunan O'Kane and Dan Gosling went to Ferndown Upper School to present a signed shirt on behalf of the club and also took part in a Q&A to a hall full of students.

Ferndown upper school has strong links with the Cherries, as several young talents from the school have represented the Cherries at youth level, including Sam Surridge, Jordan Lee, Keelan O’Connell, Henry Lander, Matt Neale and Luke Holmes.

The latest crop of students were able to ask Federici, O’Kane and Gosling about their time with the club and the trio created a great buzz around the school, according to head of PE Ryan Ellis.

"We all really enjoyed seeing Dan, Eunan and Adam," Ellis said.

"The children really enjoyed it and the whole school is talking to me about the visit so the club left with everyone buzzing here.

"The staff all commented on how appropriate and professional the lads were with our students and they had such a nice manner about them, they spoke really well to a hall full of students and did the club proud.

"It was lovely to see them wait around afterwards and sign autographs and stand for photos. The players really helped create a lovely atmosphere."
