AFC Bournemouth’s Will Boucher has been called up to represent the England cerebral palsy development squad.

Boucher becomes the second AFC Bournemouth Ability Counts player to be called up for England, following Chris Dade who named in the partially sighted squad.

After recently taking part in the Three Lions training camp, Boucher has been selected to travel with the squad to Dublin in April 2016 to take part in the CP International Tournament, against the Republic of Ireland, Denmark and Scotland.

Cherries head coach Katy Shephard said that everyone at the club is proud of Boucher’s call up.

"Will is a key part of the Senior Championship AFC Bournemouth Ability Counts side and has worked really hard to gain this call up," she said.

"We are so proud of him, he is a joy to work with in training, always wanting to learn and push himself to achieve the most he can from any session.

"All of us at Ability Counts would like to wish him and the rest of the England Development Squad the best of luck for the tournament and hope they come away from the tournament happy, knowing they have all done as well as possible."
