Corey Jordan to spend extended period on the sidelines with serious knee injury

AFC Bournemouth can confirm that teenage defender Corey Jordan has suffered a serious knee injury and will be sidelined for a number of months.

The 18-year-old ruptured both his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and lateral collateral ligament (LCL) during last week’s under-21 friendly win over Sampdoria.

The club’s medical staff are currently seeking advice from surgeons to ensure he receives the best possible treatment and rehabilitation.

Everyone associated with AFC Bournemouth wishes Corey a full and speedy recovery.
