Come along on Tuesday night and watch the AFC Bournemouth under-18s take on Luton Town in the cup final for FREE at Vitality Stadium (7:30pm kick off).
The match is the Youth Alliance Cup final, with the team coming through four rounds to get to the big stage at the home of the Cherries first team.
Under-18s midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh was joined by full-back Antonio Diaz as the pair gave their assessment on some of their influential team-mates ahead of the final.
Will Dennis – Goalkeeper
NO: “I lived with him for a while in digs, and I’d played against him before when he was at his previous club Watford.
“Since the start of this season he’s made massive improvements, especially since being on the bench for the U21s and training with the first team. He’s quickly getting better and better.
“He played in the cup against Southend and put in a tidy performance. He didn’t really have to do too much but everything that came his way he swept up.”
Sam Sherring – Defender
AD: “He’s a massive part of the team and from centre-back he directs everything. He’s a good passer of the ball and makes sure it gets to the right places.
“He’s also weighed in with some goals, he scored against Oxford on the cup run and that helped to put us through.
“The way he leads the team is important and we know we can rely on him, hopefully he can lead us to a good result in the final.”
Kyle Taylor – Midfielder
NO: “I’m used to playing with him and he’s a joy to play with. He likes to keep the ball moving, glides past people and he’s always positive.
“He helps out his team-mates and is all-round a good person and player to have in your team."
Gavin Kilkenny – Forward
AD: “Gav’s a big player in our team, he’s an international and it’s good to have him in the starting line up.
“He creates a lot with the ball, he makes a lot of chances as well as scoring a lot of goals, let’s hope he can net one in the final too.
“He’s away with the Republic of Ireland at the moment but will be back for the big game on Tuesday.”
