AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says Dan Gosling has suffered a setback this week during training.
Gosling took a knock to his knee in the match away at Southampton and missed last Saturday's game with Chelsea.
"I felt Dan would be fit and available for this game but I’m not so sure now," said Howe in his pre-match press conference. "He's had a set-back in the week."
If he misses out at White Hart Lane, Gosling will join Andrew Surman on the sidelines - the midfielder who may miss the rest of the season with a knee injury picked up at St Mary's.
Defender Tyrone Mings returns to the fold after his suspension, with his manager saying the time out has been testing for the 24-year-old.
"He’s been frustrated because he’s fit and he’s had a long-term injury to contend with previously," commented Howe. "It can seem like a long time five games so we’re delighted to have him back."
Elsewhere, Howe commented that midfielder Junior Stanislas has been working his way back from injury and is likely to be involved in the squad this weekend.
