Hyndman: The club is on the rise and developing players, I wanted to be a part of that

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

The USA international moved to the south coast on a four-year deal after spending almost five years with Fulham.

The 20-year-old is keen to make his mark on the Premier League and believes that Eddie Howe is the right coach for the younger players in the squad to develop and learn from.

"Every player playing in England wants to play in the Premier League so I’m really excited to get that opportunity," Hyndman told Cherries Player HD.

"I see this season as a great opportunity, not just for myself, as the whole club is very much on the rise.

"We’ve got a great manager, it was good to speak to him and he has a great philosophy on how he wants his team to play - I wanted to be a part of that.

"You can see by the other signings in Nathan and Lys, he’s bringing in young players, there is work on developing players happening at this club.

"Everyone at the club has set a good grounding and now he wants to bring some players through and as a young player that’s exactly what you want to hear.

"It’s a really good opportunity and I want to give my all to AFC Bournemouth."

Having lived in London since moving over from the USA as a 15-year-old, Hyndman is looking forward to living in Bournemouth as he settles down to start the newest chapter of his career.

"It’s quite an honour to be here, it’s been a weird journey," he continued.

"I came over at 15 to Fulham and had plenty of ups and downs, but to be back at a Premier League club is terrific for me and I'm really looking forward to it.

"Bournemouth is very different! It’s not as busy as London and it’s a lovely town, it’s obviously got beaches, lovely neighbourhoods and great restaurants, it seems like the laid back part of England!

"It’s a really nice place and I’m really happy to make the move here and show what I can do."
