With a game-less weekend due to the international break the AFC Bournemouth squad have travelled to Dubai for a training camp

The AFC Bournemouth squad travel to Dubai this week for a warm-weather training camp.

Following their 2-0 win over Swansea City at the weekend, the squad are returning to the same facility where they trained last spring.

"We go away to Dubai now for five days. It's going to be really hard work in hot conditions," manager Eddie Howe told afcb.co.uk after Saturday's match.

"We went there last year and we felt we benefited from that so we're looking forward to that again."

Defender Steve Cook said that he is anticipating a tough training schedule: "It's always very demanding out there but it's always nice to go out there in the sun. The weather here has been a bit indifferent, so over there it will be different.

"The facility where we train is outstanding, they've got everything so it's a chance for the coaches and the staff to test us."
