AFC Bournemouth to host evening with Eddie Howe in support of former player John Bailey

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Taking place at Vitality Stadium on Saturday 8th October, ex-Cherries goalkeeper Jimmy Glass will lead an intimate, light-hearted and insightful chat with the Howe about his journey from the depths of League Two to the Premier League.

“It is important that as a club we remember and support our former players,” explained the Cherries boss.

“The cyclical nature of professional football means that opportunities to reflect and look back over previous years are very rare.

“So this evening will provide a chance for us to show that ex-players like John and his wife Emma are still very much a part of the AFC Bournemouth family.”

Starting at 7pm with welcome drinks in the Champions Top Floor Restaurant, guests will then enjoy a delicious three-course dinner with wine and coffee.

An auction and raffle will follow before carriages at 12am.

This event will be held in conjunction with the club’s official charity partner Dorset Cancer Care Foundation, and proceeds from the night will provide cancer care for people within Dorset.

Funds raised from the evening will also help to provide medical support for John Bailey’s wife Emma, who is undergoing treatment for metastatic melanoma cancer.

AFC Bournemouth would like to thank sponsors Schofields for their support of this event.

A table of 10 for this event is priced at £1,500 including VAT.

To book, please call 01202 726306 or email [email protected].
