Andrew Surman is unsure whether this weekend’s match against Millwall will be his last for the Cherries.

Surman’s season long loan from Norwich City comes to an end on Saturday, bringing an end to his second spell with the club.

“My future is still pretty much unknown,” he told BBC Radio Solent.

“I haven’t had any contact with Norwich, but I still have a year left on my contract there.

“Once I’ve spoken to the gaffer here to see what he wants to do and then see what Norwich want to do, then I can assess the situation.

“As of yet, I haven’t really got enough information from either side to make a decision on what I’m going to do.”

Norwich slipped into the Premier League’s bottom three over the weekend following defeat to Manchester United.

And Surman admits that which division the Canaries play in next season could have a bearing on a possible return to the Goldsands Stadium.

“They have quite a big squad there and relegation would mean off-loading players, so you never know,” he added.

“I won’t know until a new manager comes in and I’ve spoken to him. Then I will get a better idea.”
