Josh McQuoid believes that the Cherries can recover quickly from their recent run of results.

The midfielder refused to use any excuses after the reverse at Leyton Orient and insisted that Bournemouth have the quality to get back on track.

“We have had this in the past,” McQuoid told afcb.co.uk. “We had been on a bad streak and came back strongly. With the quality we have got, we will not let this run affect us and we can get back up the table.

“We know what a good team we are, but a few things haven’t gone our way. We have to pick ourselves up and go again next week against Doncaster.

“We are conceding poor goals and that is something we will look at and improve. We can’t make those mistakes anymore because it’s costing us.”

As disappointing as the last couple of weeks have been, the Northern Ireland international believes that the side are more than capable of embarking on another unbeaten run.

“We know we can do that, we have already proved that we can.  We have looked at all the games we have left and know they are all winnable.

“They are all massive games, but I don’t see why we can’t win them all because we have the belief.

“Why shouldn’t we? We are not fighting for our lives and we are not down at the bottom. The club is secure and in a really good place, so we just have to go out and give it our all.

“We have proved it before and hopefully now we can bounce back from this disappointment and go again on Saturday.”
