Player content was judged over a three month period, before the Cherries' media team submitted their finest effort under five minutes in length.
A short documentary detailing the return of Eddie Howe impressed judges from Sky Sports and BBC enough to bag top prize and land the Cherries with a bumper cheque.
Head of media and communications, Max Fitzgerald said, "“We have worked hard to improve the quality of content we provide for our Cherries Player subscribers over the past year, so it is fantastic to see our efforts recognised by a judging panel comprising of representatives from some of the country’s top broadcasters.
"When we decided on the content of our final piece it was a no-brainer to create a short documentary about Eddie Howe, detailing his rise at AFC Bournemouth and monumental return to the club.
“It is great for the club to receive such a substantial amount of money, and we will endeavour to invest a portion of it into the department to improve our media output further.”
Entries were marked on editorial worth, production quality, originality and the overall level of content that each club had to offer.
