As an ambassador of the environmental project, the Cherries star mucked-in and helped children of all ages clean up the area surrounding their school.
The versatile player was keen to praise the initiative, he said: “Yet again Green Goals have produced another fantastic project that not only gets local children involved but helps and inspires the wider community.
“It is great to see the good work that they are doing, and an honour to be asked to be part of it.
“I hope that in future I can join volunteers in another scheme as part of the initiative, as it is great to give something back to the community.”
Green Goals is an environmental initiative formed in partnership by AFC Bournemouth and Bournemouth Borough Council, which aims to improve the area of Bournemouth and Poole.
Through the combination of football, education and business the initiative improves the area of Bournemouth and also engages local communities.
