The event started with a full English breakfast and gave the attendees the chance to network and meet other local business people.
Cherries commercial director Rob Mitchell, Hazel Hatch from BH Live and Paul Du Lieu from Gilt Edged Travel were arrested as part of a charity jail and bail fundraiser in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice and the Wessex Autistic Society. Between them they raised over £1,000 and you can add to the total by clicking

The event also marked the launch of the new AFC Business website which will now allow local businesses to post their news, information, interests. The latest AFC Business event information and commercial will also be available.

Mitchell said, “I’m thrilled with the amount of people that attended the breakfast this morning. It was a huge success. We are hoping the new website will also prove to be valuable to other businesses across the town and we thank all those who have donated to our jail and bail fundraiser.”
The next AFC Business event is a Directors’ Dinner on Thursday 18th October with guest speaker Simon Weston OBE.
A Christmas Lunch event has also been confirmed for Wednesday 19th December at Seven’s Boatshed in Poole Park.
