Jonathan Meades impressed on trial during pre-season before signing for the Cherries.

Jon Meades earned his second Wales under-21 cap last night as they were beaten 5-0 by Czech Republic.

Meades replaced Manchester City’s Emyr Huws with just under 15 minutes remaining in the final fixture of Wales’ UEFA under-21 Championship qualifying campaign.

The former Cardiff full-back signed a two-year deal at the Goldsands Stadium in the summer.
