The Cherries dominated the match for long spells but had to be content with a point against MK Dons, who had Alan Smith sent off with the hosts a goal to the good.
“I can’t disguise the fact that we are all really disappointed because it was a game that we should have won. We were in front and they were down to ten men and the least you look to come away with is a 1-0 win, and that’s where the massive disappointment is," he told afcb.co.uk after the final whistle.
“We pinned them back in the first half and even before the sending off, we were the ones in the ascendency. We always looked like the ones likely to score, but you always have to be mindful of them counter attacking.
“The game was going our way and we didn’t press home the advantage and in this league, you can’t afford to do that.”
