Bournemouth sign 22-year-old on a three year deal from Torquay.

AFC Bournemouth has signed midfielder Eunan O’Kane from Torquay for an undisclosed fee.

O’Kane has put pen to paper on a three-year-deal and becomes Paul Groves’ fifth addition of the summer.

The 22-year-old spent two years in Everton’s youth team before going back to his native Northern Ireland to sign for Coleraine.

He then signed for Torquay United in June 2010 after a trial period and played for the Gulls for two seasons.

O’Kane has already played at Dean Court when Torquay knocked the Cherries out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in 2010.

He has represented Northern Ireland at underage level and has also featured for the Republic of Ireland after switching allegiances.
