Keeper Darryl Flahavan sends his news from the Spanish training camp.

“Some of the lads and myself went to Gibraltar last night, but I never managed to get anything for the kids as everywhere was closed, including the rock!  We didn't stay long, just had a coffee and headed back to the hotel.  It was nice to visit somewhere new and another place ticked off the list as I’d never been there before!

We were up for 7.30 this morning, breakfast at 8 and then to our first training session at 9.15.  We had a recovery session in the pool at 12 and then most of the lads slept in their room.  I sat by the pool and caught a bit of sun before we started again at 5.

In the morning, I have been working with Shwan and Mossy and then we joined in with some small sided games.  Most of the lads have been doing their hard running in the morning and then in the afternoon doing tactical and shape work, so it has been good and varied for all of us.

After we had tea, around ten of us walked down to the local shop.  We then all meet up for a coffee and a little get together.  It’s then back to the rooms and most of us watch some TV or go on our laptops, and then the majority of the lads will have an early night because we are up early training again tomorrow.”
