AFCB have today secured the permanent signature of Miles Addison.

AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce the signing of central defender Miles Addison on a three year deal from Derby County for an undisclosed fee.

The 23 year old returns to the club where he appeared in the final 14 games of last season, scoring against Carlisle in March.

Miles started his career at Derby County and made his debut for the Rams in April 2006 against Hull City.  The 2008-09 campaign saw him establish himself in the Derby side, playing in a central midfield role and went on to captain the side as a teenager.  He was named as the Young Player of the Season in 2009 before a stress fracture of the foot ruled him out.

Last season saw Miles spend the first half of the season on loan at Barnsley where he made 11 appearances before signing for Bournemouth on loan, making his debut on 25 February against MK Dons.

Miles has now rejoined the Cherries on a permanent basis, signing a three year deal.
