New signing Miles Addison has revealed that the ambitions at AFC Bournemouth swayed his decision to join the Cherries, despite the attentions of other clubs.
Miles made 14 appearances for the Cherries last season, and made a big impression with a series of commanding performances in a centre half role, and building a good rapport with the Cherries faithful with his displays.
Miles spoke to afcb.co.uk and talked about how the ambitions of the club excited him, “Once I saw that Paul was confirmed as manager, it made the decision much easier. With the signings the cub has made and the direction that the club is going, which I saw last season, I realised that my decision was easier that it could have been.”
He added, “When I first came here, I said that people from the outside are viewing Bournemouth as a big club now and that’s what’s happening again. The momentum is building with the signing’s that Paul is making. He has sorted his backroom staff out and I think that everyone from the outside is looking in and are expecting Bournemouth to be up there this season.”
The 23 year old has signed permanently for the club with his aims very clear, “I’ve come here to win things. I want to achieve things here at Bournemouth and I think with everyone pulling in the same direction and with the squad we have, we can achieve automatic promotion.”
