Born in south London, Ibe left Charlton Athletic at the age of twelve and joined Wycombe Wanderers in 2007.
Here's what the 20-year-old has achieved during his early days in professional football.
WYCOMBE WANDERERS
Ibe's potential was there for all to see at Wycombe, where he made his debut aged just 15 in a cup tie against Colchester United in August 2011.
It proved to be an eventual few weeks for the youngster, as not only did he make his first senior start 14 days later against Sheffield Wednesday, he also scored in that game.
Ibe's goal against Wednesday made him Wycombe’s youngest ever goalscorer in the Football League.

LIVERPOOL
The Reds saw the winger's promise and signed him as a 16-year-old in 2011.
He rapidly progressed through the under-18s and under-21s squads and found himself in with the first-team on the last day of the 2011/12 season.
Ibe was then loaned to Championship side Birmingham City for the 2012/13 season and he had a hand in the stoppage time goal on the last game of the season that kept Blues in the Championship.
His next season was spent with Derby County, where he gained valuable first-team exposure and eventually impressed so much that he was recalled to Anfield in January.
The 2015/16 season saw Ibe earn plenty of first-team action with the Reds as he played 41 times in all competitions.
ENGLAND
An England international at under-18, 19 and 21 level, Ibe was recently eligible to play for both the Three Lions and Nigeria.
But the Bermondsey-born winger made the choice to continue representing England, telling Liverpool's club website: "It was my choice and it feels the right choice.
"I was born here and have played in the younger age groups. I want to take it up to the first team one day."
