AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust are pleased to have implemented their growing girls’ development pathway for the 2022/23 season.
The programme will see 350 girls and women participate in a wide-ranging number of sessions on a weekly basis.
The following training is now in place, with the girls’ programme supported by Bournemouth University:
Premier League Kicks
- For girls aged 12-16
- Sessions at Vitality Stadium’s 3G
- Every Friday from 6.30-7.30pm
- 36 girls per session
Emerging Talent Centre
- Three age groups consisting of U10s, U12s and U14s
- Invite-only sessions at Slade's Park 3G
- U10s train between 6pm and 7:30pm
- U12s and U14s train between 6pm and 8pm
- Goalkeeping and strength and conditioning sessions included
- Games program during school holidays
- Working in conjunction with the FA

AFC Bournemouth Girls’ Team
- Four age groups consisting of U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s
- Sessions at Slades Park
- Session time dependant on age group
- 78 girls involved overall
Female Football Education Programme
- For girls aged 16-19
- Based at Brockenhurst College
- Full-time college course
- 50 girls involved overall
Women’s Senior Teams (first team and development squad)
- For women over the age of 16
- Sessions at Ringwood Community Hub
- Session time dependant on squad
- 41 women involved overall
